This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Manager to join a new company and be a part of its growth and success within the Domiciliary Care sector. We are looking for someone who has experience in this field and understands the demands that come with being a Registered Manager. We need a compassionate and caring individual who will roll up their sleeves to support their team when required.
As a Registered Manager, you will:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Branch, including rota planning, staffing, and service delivery.
Ensure that all care and support provided is person-centred, safe, and responsive to individual needs.
Recruit, develop, and retain a skilled and passionate staff team, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
Promote a transparent and open working environment, where staff feel valued and empowered.
Build strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals.
Ensure all documentation, care plans, audits, and risk assessments are compliant and regularly updated.
Manage the budgets and resources effectively, in partnership with internal teams.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, conducting audits, driving service development, and preparing for inspections.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar leadership role within Domiciliary Care.
A strong understanding of CQC regulations, Safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, and Health & Safety.
Experience supporting individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, or Mental Health needs, including Dementia.
A proven ability to build and lead teams, manage performance, and support staff development, including Care Assistants.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
Strong IT and administrative skills, with experience using care management systems.
Flexible and proactive approach able to meet the needs of a new and evolving Domiciliary Care service.
Willingness to be part of the Registered Manager on-call rota.
Preferable:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards).
Experience working in complex care environments.
